LIVE ZOOM – First Annual AFSC Variety Talent Show
Deadline: July 4th,2020 by 11:59pm
Rehearsal: There will be a full rehearsal held on July 10th and 11th from tentatively 6-7:30PM. Performers will be required to show their full act.
Performance length: All performances must be no longer than three minutes.(Performers must be prepared to perform directly after the person before them finishes). Performances over three minutes will be disqualified.

Jump Technique with Alex Volpicelli
Alex Volpicelli is a Regional, Sectional, National competitor, and three-time Intercollegiate National medalist. She is an SSM Staff Coach and founder of Performance Plus Power Skating, a progressive on and off-ice power and conditioning program for figure skaters and hockey players. Specializing in dynamic stroking and explosive jump technique, Alex helps her skaters with balance, agility, and endurance.
“Resilience” with Paul Wylie
Paul Wylie is an American figure skater, a 1992 Olympic silver medalist and a PSA master-rated coach. Based in N. Carolina, he frequently tours doing seminars around the world. Austin FSC is proud to offer our Adults an off-ice Live Zoom class with Paul Wylie. Participant number is limited. Sign up now!

2020 Off to a Great Start!
Austin Figure Skating Club began the 2020 skating season in full competitive mode and experienced two great competitions, San Antonio, Texas (Alamo Skate) and Houston, Texas (Houston Invitational). Competing at a high caliber of skating, AFSC-athletes were poised and accomplished earning ten gold, five silver, two bronze medals and eighteen top-ten finishes overall. Congratulations to our competitors. We are very proud of you!!
The following club members competed February in San Antonio: Jessica Hutchinson and Bella Simms. The following club members competed at Houston Invitational: Noa Syed, Bella Sims, Yuval Yaacob, Shahar Yaacob, Christopher Chapa, Aleena Khatum, Grace Mauk, Annika Dawson, Julie Tusken, Sara Tusken, Michael Chapa, and Anaiah Machamer.
